DAY THIRTEEN – CWC FIRST FRUITS DEVOTIONAL

Day Thirteen

Capacity….
Faith is a subject that can never be exhausted. We as believers and followers of Christ have to understand and deal with the fact that as long as we are breathing, faith will always be mysterious to some degree. Because while we may understand and comprehend faith in one respect; time will pass and new experiences will occur that will challenge our faith. Now if we rise to the faith challenges in our lives then something happens, we grow. And when we grow, our faith grows. It’s very difficult to comprehend something that’s always growing. Just when you think you know all about it, you grow and find out that there is more to it than when you first believed. As a matter of fact, Faith is an expandable commodity in the sense that it fits into the capacity that you have. In other words if all you have is Dixie cup capacity then God will work with your Dixie cup faith; but if you have a swimming pool size capacity, God is able to cover that as well. We all have different measures

of faith according to the capacity that we have. The scripture tells us in Romans 12:3
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”
I encourage and push you to grow in this season. We should all intentionally desire for our faith to experience a growth spurt. The best prayer to pray regarding this is: “Father, please enlarge my capacity” It’s all about how much room you have to grow. Now that prayer will backfire if we are not prepared for the growth. This means that in order to make room for a capacity upgrade, you have to get rid of some old things that may be crowding you thus, hindering your ability to grow. When God is ready to increase you, make sure you have thrown out the trash in your life. When God shows up to increase you make sure you’ve swept the floors and dusted the corners as a sign of your availability.
Let’s pray…

Lord, we have cleaned our houses and we our ready for a move. We are ready for more, for greater. We desire greater capacity to love, greater capacity to give, greater capacity to forgive and greater capacity to serve You in a more excellent way. Thank You Jesus for doing it now. And it is so in JESUS mighty name,
Amen…

  1. This is so awesome! Do you have swimming pool faith or Dixie cup faith? I have swimming pool faith.

  2. I’m doing “Spring Cleaning” now in preparation of the manifestation of my double up capacity occupying my life space. Overflow….IT IS SO SO IT IS! IN JESUS’S NAME.
